The Rocket Richard Trophy is the award that goes to the player that scores the most goals in the NHL in one season. Last year, Auston Matthews was the winner and was 5 goals in front of the next closest player (Leon Draisaitl). Matthews has an incredible shot and his finishing ability is really second to none. But, what Matthews does not have is Connor McDavid on his team. Leon Draisaitl does. Draisaitl is one of the premier scorers in the league and has the best player and playmaker in the world on his team and on the same power play. Draisaitl can bury as good as anyone and McDavid's cross ice pass for a Draisaitl one timer on the power play is something that gets any hockey fan excited. Leon Draisaitl is going to win the Rocket Richard this year and he is going to give his teammate Connor McDavid a run for the Art Ross Trophy too. Draisaitl is +500 to win the Rocket Richard and I think having his line that high is criminal.
